Abstract

'I LOOKED AND SAW A SEA ROOFED OVER WITH RAINBOWS' Ezra Pound, "Sea Of Glass."Filmed between Seaburn, Sunderland and Barcelona, Spain

Made during the 2020 Lockdown with artists Sarah Coxon and Sarah Dobbs, 'A part' explores the act of creation during a time of stasis. In a time punctuated by distance, the two artists found connection and creative development. In their explorations, they consider how poetic form might inspire movement and how a deeper connection to the sea and our landscapes, whether apart.

Sarah Coxon is a Sunderland-born aerialist residing in Spain.
Sarah Dobbs is a writer-aerialist and PL for the English: Creative and Professional Writing @ University of Sunderland.
