Dr David Baglee is an Associate Professor within the School of Engineering in the Faculty of Technology. He has managed several European and UK government-funded projects examining maintenance within the automotive, marine, and food and drink sectors. Previous work included a DTI project, OPTFEST (Optimisation of Food and Engineering Supply Chain Technology). The project aim was to transfer modern maintenance technologies and practices, which have been successfully implemented in the aerospace and other industry sectors, to improve the profitability of the food-processing sector. He has published extensively in maintenance journals and conferences.
