Abstract

This short video formed part of a series of of short films made by Media Education, commissioned by the Edinburgh Architectural Association on the accassion of the Festival of Architecture which took place throughout Scotland in May 2016 as part of the Year of Innovation Architecture and Design.

The film includes an interview with artist and academic Inge Panneels and architect Dorian Wisniewski discussing the role of crafts, and glass in particle, in architecture.

It was filmed during the Reflections Residency at the Haining in March 2016. It was showcased during the Reflections exhibition at the Haining in Selkirk from 30 April till 8th May and during the Crafts in Architecture exhibition at Gayfield Creative Spaces in Edinburgh from 14 until 24th May, as part of the Festival of Architecture programme.
