Abstract
This piece critically evaluates the key elements of the proposed Draft Spaceflight Bill 2017. The ambiguity over the air/space boundary, informed consent and space tourism and the role of a new regulatory regime are evaluated within the piece. The discussion also places the Bill in the broader context of space law development and highlights some key areas of concern that need to be addressed if the Bill is to become a successful addition to the corpus of existing national space laws.
