Ken has extensive industrial experience and has been a Senior Lecturer for thirteen years. Ken worked in the mining and manufacturing industries for over 35 years and held key managerial posts as; Electrical Engineer, Maintenance Manager, Process Improvement Engineer, Process Control Manager and Manufacturing Manager. Ken left industry in 2005 and carried out doctoral research into manufacturing and maintenance strategy. The work provided new ways for manufacturing companies to assess, create and link functional strategies so that manufacturing performance can be improved.
