I currently work as a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Sunderland. I am also a Registered Intermediary, accredited with the Ministry of Justice, where I assist with the effective communication with vulnerable victims and witnesses in order to obtain their best evidence. I regularly work alongside practitioners within the criminal justice system such as police officers, barristers and Judges. In addition, I provide training to organisations on interviewing vulnerable individuals and effective communication.
Qualifications:
I completed my PhD in Forensic Psychology at Goldsmiths, University of London; thesis is entitled: 'Mental disorder and investigative interviewing: Towards a more practice-based framework'.
