SURE

Gary I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Programme Leader for MA Media Production (Film and Television) in the Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries. He has supervised national and international award-winning student filmmakers and he manages the faculty's academic partnership with the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Albert and the education partnership with Avid Technology. He has industry links and networks external to the University and attempt to embed realistic workplace expectations across the curriculum. Gary has recent experience working at senior levels on some of the largest drama productions shot in the UK. He has worked with industry professionals on multiple Virtual Production volumes and understand the requirements for scheduling and directing in the studio space. Gary is committed to promoting sustainability in the film and television industry and enthusiastic to find ways we can reduce waste, energy consumption, and carbon emissions during filming.
