Abstract
The UK wastes 9.5 million tonnes of food each year and ironically such food could be redirected to feed over 30 million people for a year. The paper investigates current research and applied research findings in the UK and such data is benchmarked against Botswana's sustainability policies, in line with Sustainability 2030.
