Abstract

Churchill contributed two prints from her Unearthed series, produced as part of the We Feed The UK commission with the Gaia Foundation and NEPN, to Art from the Lens, a group exhibition at Bottleworks in Newcastle's Lower Ouseburn Valley. The exhibition brought together work exploring historical and analogue photographic print methods, including albumen printing and other nineteenth-century processes, situating contemporary documentary practice within a broader history of photographic making.
