Abstract
A large external print of Churchill's portrait Ellie, 2021 was installed at the National Glass Centre in Sunderland during the run of The Skin We Live In: Portraits from the NGCA Collection exhibition at the nearby Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art. The print has remained in situ as a long-term public installation, bringing Churchill's work from the Pandemic series into an outdoor public context on Sunderland's cultural waterfront.
