Abstract
Churchill gave an illustrated talk to Hexham and District Photographic Society on 18 October 2024, covering her documentary and portrait practice, her background in healthcare, and her ongoing participatory research project NHS Darkroom. The talk addressed her work exploring the human experience of time and its distortions during illness, injury and isolation, as well as the NHS Darkroom project's collaborative approach to photography with healthcare professionals at Newcastle Hospitals.
