Abstract

The Eternal EP is a collection of non-lyrical hand-pan and vocal pieces, reflecting work done in conjunction with the Glasshouse International Centre for Music in Gateshead.

The public workshops at the Glasshouse focus on the role of sound in spirituality and community, bringing people together for sound-bath meditations, drum circles and explorations of different frequencies on the human body and mood.

The EP showcases some of the original pieces used live in the meditations, presented here in recorded form for mass distribution, featuring Shannon Pearl on vocals and John Timney on the hand-pan and bass, as well as programming, mixing and mastering.
