Biography:

Margaret is interested in the care and education of young children from birth to five and in the professional development of those who work in early years settings. Her role as Early Years Professional Status co-coordinator at the University of Sunderland has brought her into contact with a wide range of practitioners and it was this work which led to the research briefly described below.
