Abstract
Joe Winter’s series …A History of Light involves fading pigmented papers with either natural or artificial light to produce seemingly photographic, long duration exposures. His new site-specific installation at the National Glass Centre uses glass objects created by Cate Watkinson, to reflect, refract or focus ambient light. A series of abstract images will slowly evolve through the interaction of light, paper, glass, and time.
