Abstract
The Magistrates Association worked with academics from the University of Durham and the University of Sunderland to carry out research on domestic abuse. It involved Magistrate members completing a survey about their views on specialist domestic abuse courts as well as their perceptions of risk and potential harm in different relationships. There were also questions relating to training which magistrates had attended.
