Abstract
This a project with student researchers funded by Teesside University which examines the social work undergraduate buddying scheme. Buddies are provided from years 2 and 3 to support their peers in the year below. A new and distinctive feature is that some newly qualified social workers are continuing to offer buddying (to year 3 students) during their first year in qualified social work practice.
