Abstract
Recent research has shown that teachers are resilient and proactive in the face of curriculum change (Hidson, 2018). Teachers are increasingly seeking opportunities for CPD through and in relation to technology. Examples of this include micro-learning through video tutorials, developing communities of practice through social media and the use of apps both inside and outside of the classroom. This presentation encourages teachers to harness impactful self-directed professional learning opportunities in terms of both technological and pedagogical development, suing examples from a range of recent EdTech research projects.
