Abstract
This book assesses the history, current status and developments in photographic higher education in the UK, providing readers with a comprehensive perspective of British contemporary photographic education.
The book presents interviews with 20 scholars, critics and participants in British photographic education, elucidating the common features of British higher education and the characteristics of each school.
Works are provided from 22 international students in British photographic schools, as well as interviews with these students, thus providing examples of the fruits of the British photographic education system.
Information concerning British photography and photographic education is clarified, assisting readers of all levels to more comprehensively understand the whole system of British photography.
