Abstract
Life Saving Skills and Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care Training Package- New approach to competency based training. Currently running in 8 African and 3 Asian counties as part of the Making It Happen programme, with evidence of positive results in terms of knowledge and skills and also facility outcomes.
Quality Improvement in Maternal and Newborn Health- Opportunity to critique a new QI package before it is operational as part of the 11 country ‘Making It Happen’ programme. Opportunity to learn how this package is complementary to current thinking on QI.
Each workshop will last approximately 90 minutes and hold a maximum of 24 participants
Those who may benefit from the workshop or may be interested in attending are: Ministry of Health Officials, Consultants in Quality Improvement, Obstetricions/Gynaecologists interested in volunteering as national or international faculty.
