Abstract
Innovation is a buzz word and can be defined as a process of practical implementation of ideas that suggest improvement in offerings either on goods or services. In other words, innovation is about practical creativity, making ideas useful that leaders encourage to implement in every organization to shape the organization's future. However, very sadly, considering competitive market study on innovation and its practice, there was very limited evidence that innovation was considered as a central part of organizational sustainability. The chapter undertook a study using semi-structured interview questions from the school of business faculties from three different universities in London to examine how effective interdepartmental communication can benefit organizational innovativeness. The study considered effective communication as a central discussion point and also assessed the process of innovation and organizational learning.
