Abstract

This research examines the innovative use of fictional podcasting to explore technological and societal issues in a simulated environment. Set in the AI-generated city-state of Soraya Zinariya, the podcast "Sunny Tech" serves as a vehicle for investigating the implications of advanced technologies on urban life. The study focuses on a specific episode that delves into the controversy surrounding autonomous flying drone taxis, highlighting the challenges and opportunities presented by such innovations. By analysing this creative work, the research aims to contribute to the ongoing dialogue about the role of AI in content creation and its potential to shape our understanding of future urban landscapes. The project also considers the implications of using simulated environments for business modelling and societal forecasting.
