Abstract
Practical work for this exhibition has emerged from on-going research, which examines ceramics within the expanded field with particular focus on the conceptual and the re-interpretation of the readymade in contemporary practice. The work proffers a socio-politcal commentary on absurdities within contemporary culture and centralises the inoffensive ceramic figurine within this discourse.
