Abstract
Watkinson’s practice-led research aims to investigate the creation and placing of
contemporary glass sculpture in the public domain using sustainable materials.
Watkinson was commissioned by Northumbria Police and Gateshead Council, to
create a public work that considered and gave an insight into the values of the police
service.
