Abstract
Multiple session interviews occur when a complainant is interviewed more than once about an alleged offence. We discuss the benefits of multiple session interviews; make key recommendations for planning, conducting, and evaluating them; and address some of the challenges they face in the legal system. If the complainant is given agency over the number of interviews planned, and the interviews are conducted according to best practice, multiple session interviews can be an effective way of obtaining additional, and possibly crucial, offence-related information.
