Abstract
This report outlines the nature of voluntary attendance for the purposes of investigative interviewing, discusses academic debates around the nature and definitions of vulnerability, and outlines vulnerability as defined by PACE including recent changes and their impacts. Support available to Vulnerable Voluntary Attenders from Liaison and Diversion (L&D), Appropriate Adults (AAs) and the right to free and independent legal advice are outlined.
