Abstract
Due to the importance of digital leadership for almost all organizations in digital era, they all need to build competencies in their employees and managers in a way or other and this up-skilling process has become an inevitable part of people development and capacity building in organizations. Following this trend, it is important for organizations to have a clear view about digital leadership competencies and to understand which ones are among the priorities for them. Clearly, they cannot invest in all different skills at once and they need to have a prioritization process in place. This chapter summarizes the main digital leadership competencies and shares a bird-eye view on them to help the organizations in the above-mentioned challenge. The framework shared in this chapter can be used as a starting point for developing measurement tools for digital leadership competencies and for developing a comprehensive development plan for the employees at different levels of the organization.
