Abstract
The exhibition brings together exclusively new works and groups of works (Curves, Eggs, Bubbles). As we know from Broeg's earlier exhibitions, themes and motifs are played through in a variety of formats and media. We encounter sculptures, drawings and paintings (pictorial spaces) that influence each other on various levels.
Curves - In mathematics, a curve is a one-dimensional object and can take on any shape. Whether the curve lies in the two-dimensional plane ("plane curve") or in a higher-dimensional space (see space curve) is irrelevant in this conceptual context.
Eggs - With a diameter of 15 centimeters and a weight of 1,500 grams, African bouquets have the largest eggs in the world in absolute terms, which take over an hour to boil soft.
Bubbles - A bubble is a gaseous body within a liquid. It is separated from the liquid by a closed phase boundary. If the bubble and liquid are at rest in relation to each other, the bubble is spherical.
