Abstract
Map-i: Mercator Revisited is a collection of artworks by Inge Panneels, produced in glass, which offers a contemporary interpretation of globes, atlases and maps by the Flemish cartographer Gerardus Mercator. Inge Panneels, a Flemish artist, living in Scotland and working in England, was the first artist in residence of the Mercator Museum in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium
