Abstract

On June 26, 2016 art collector Gil Bronner will open a new exhibition space for his Philara collection. The salient feature of the Collection is the juxtaposition between local emerging and established artists. By making it accessible to the public, he provides a very individual cultural space for Duesseldorf and the region.
Philara intends to show four temporary exhibitions per year, next to the permanent collection which will rotate on a slower basis. In addition, numerous interdisciplinary events including concerts, readings, and lectures are planned.

Lothar Goetz got commissioned to design a wall painting titled 'Composition with Yellow' for one entire room of the collection.
