Abstract
Harperley Hall in County Durham was built in 1785 and has had a long association with the English legal system. In 1947 the Hall was bought by the then Durham County Constabulary as a training school, with 2022 commemorating 75 years of involvement in police education and training locally, nationally and internationally.
