Abstract
Three photographs from my Pandemic series - Alaides, Miriam, and Charlie - were included in The Weight of Being: Vulnerability, Resilience and Mental Health in Art, an exhibition at Two Temple Place, London, 24 January to 19 April 2026.
Curated by Angela Thomas, the exhibition brought together work by 68 contemporary and twentieth-century artists exploring mental health, resilience, and emotional experience.
The Pandemic portraits, made during the Covid-19 pandemic from March 2020, document NHS healthcare workers during a period of acute professional and personal pressure. Their inclusion situates Churchill's documentary practice within a broader cultural conversation about care, labour, and psychological resilience.
