Abstract

For the Festival of Love in 2014 Southbank Centre London commissioned Lothar Goetz to develop the seven colours of love which were used for the seven forms of
love throughout the festival. They were a key element of the exhibition 'What Love Is' at the Queen Elizabeth Hall which included one outdoor wall work of him and the installation 'I Had a Dream' on the foyer windows of the Queen Elizabeth Hall.
For the floor of the Clore Ballroom of The Royal Festival Hall Lothar Goetz designed 'Happy Together', an abstract and colourful composition of intersecting circles covering the entire floor space of the ball room and celebrating all different forms of Ball Room activities and representing all seven types of love.
