Abstract

"Kurven Eier Blasen" (trans.: Curves, Eggs, Bubbles)

Following a visit to my exhibition Curves, Eggs, Bubbles at the Petra Rinck Gallery, the art and magazine publisher Gerhard Theewen, who has been established in the Cologne art scene since the 1990s, invited me to create a contribution for the Salon Magazine, which he publishes and which thematically ties in with the exhibition.

Salon Verlag was founded in 1995 and since then has published various formats such as books, editions and artist magazine contributions by both young, advanced and internationally renowned contemporary artists (Thomas Ruff, Louise Bourgeois, Lawrence Weiner, Candida Höfer, Peter Doig, Rachel Whiteread, Gregor Schneider, Berlinde De Bruyckere, Mamma Andersson, Johannes Wohnseifer, ......). Salon Verlag's publications are distributed worldwide and have an established international readership.
