Abstract

Stripes with Pink is a site specific wall painting in an Artist's run space in the centre of Bochum. The painting was developed in response to the unique character of Adhoc which is a kind of perfect White Cube within a Hinterhof garage setting. The program of Adhoc focuses on site related practice and solo presentations. The wall painting is covering almost the entire wall space of the gallery, constructed out of horizontal stripes and diagonal lines, bold in colour interrupted by black and creates a three dimensional painting to walk in and to physically experience colour and form.
