Abstract
A major national photography exhibition marking the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, developed as part of the Our Freedom: Then and Now programme led by Future Arts Centres. Curated in partnership with Open Eye Gallery and the Socially Engaged Photography Network, the exhibition brought together images from 60 locally led projects spanning communities across the UK. Churchill contributed photographic work made across nine Northeast venues including Hartlepool Community Hubs and Libraries, ARC Stockton, Berwick Youth Project, Queens Hall Arts Centre Hexham, Alnwick Playhouse, Gosforth Civic Theatre, North Tyneside Community Hubs and Libraries, The Customs House South Shields, and Arts Centre Washington.
