Abstract
International students coming to study in England face a number of biopsychosocial challenges that may impact students’ ability to integrate and to thrive academically (Khanal and Gaulee, 2019). To understand their experiences, students are surveyed at the beginning, middle and end of their one-year course at University of Sunderland for the academic year 23/24. Informed by Cupsa’s (2018) stages of culture shock additional session are provided to aid adjustment to their new culture (Lovin, 2023). Available finding and emerging themes were shared.
