Abstract
University of Sunderland Library Services offer a dedicated distance learning service to off-campus students. Students have access to a wide range of e-resources, but often do not know how to do make best use of them. This article will highlight the experience of ULS staff in developing a synchronous, interactive online workshop to introduce distance-learning students to our e-resources and equip them with the skills they need to search them.
